Memorial Day has come and gone. We want to say thank you to all who have served our country. We also have a great panel that could easily be used in a “quilt of valor” or to hang on the wall! An easy way to display a flag or the beginning of a beautiful quilt without all the precise stitching.
Check back next week for pictures of the PHD projects for May. The project for June is #2. Good luck!

I missed a project in yesterday’s blog. Here is one more completed project!
What did you do during the blizzard last weekend? I hope some of you had a chance to sew and perhaps finish up some projects! Have you tried quilting with Superior Mono Poly Thread? It worked beautifully on my quilt and I even tried “Edge to Edge” quilting with it in both the bobbin and the top thread. There were no issues with broken or stretched thread..what a great product for quilting!
April showers bring flowers..but what about April “snow showers?” They bring finished sewing projects! This is also the time to think about baby showers. We have a great collection of minky for adorable baby blankets or quilt backing. Stop in to check them out!
It looks like we have another week of cooler temperatures ahead. However, the weather certainly helps to be able to concentrate on sewing projects that need to be finished! How many unfinished projects do you have? Check out our participants’ PHD (projects half done) items that are finished . Aren’t they great? Project for April is #8.
